Lexi Kossmann

LinkedIn Profile

Hello! I’m Lexi Kossmann, and I’m from Chesterfield, Missouri. This August, I will be entering my junior year at the University of Kansas, studying Finance and Accounting. Within the School of Business, I am involved as the Vice President of Chapter Operations within Delta Sigma Pi (business fraternity), the Vice President of Women’s Business Club, the Business Leadership Program, and the Jack Dicus Business Honors Program. I also work part time as the Events Student Assistant where I assist with hosting events in the Deans Suite. I love spending my free time camping out for KU basketball games, getting outside, and spending time with friends.

When I was looking into internships last fall, Parkside’s program stood out to me because of the relationships and the company culture. The rotational program also caught my attention as a way to explore multiple different fields and familiarize myself with other aspects of business. I am looking forward to getting to know the company from this perspective and growing in my knowledge of the industry!

Evan Yalavarthi

LinkedIn Profile

Hi! My name is Evan Yalavarthi, and I am from Town and Country, MO. I will be a junior at the University of Notre Dame in the fall. At Notre Dame, I’m studying Finance in the Mendoza College of Business with a minor in Energy Studies from the College of Engineering. Currently, I’m involved with multiple business organizations such as the Student International Business Council, the Wall Street Club, and the Jubilee Initiative for Financial Inclusion. Additionally, I play an active part in the student government for my dorm.

Parkside’s Uncommon Internship interested me because of its rotational aspect. Instead of solely focusing on one area of finance, the Uncommon Internship provides an opportunity to experience multiple areas. This rotational aspect and the importance that Parkside places on mentorship attracted me to the internship, as I’m still deciding on a specific career to pursue after college. In addition to the great exposure to potential career paths, I chose Parkside because of its relationship-based culture that I believe will best prepare me to grow as a person both inside and outside of the office.

Caitlin Williams

LinkedIn Profile

Hi! My name is Caitlin Williams, and I am a rising senior at the University of Wisconsin-Madison majoring in finance and real estate. I was born and raised in the Central West End and am proud to call Saint Louis my home. At school, I am involved in a few different organizations on campus- Women in Finance, Capital Management Club, and I was the Finance Director of my sorority, Alpha Xi Delta, this past year. I also am a group fitness instructor at Wisconsin’s rec center where I teach spin classes a few times a week.

The Parkside internship caught my attention because of the program’s rotational aspect. As someone who is sure they want to kickstart their career in finance but not specifically what department, the ability to spend a few weeks in each office was particularly appealing. In my free time I enjoy working out, attending country concerts, traveling, and spending time with my friends and family. In fact, this past semester I had the opportunity to study abroad in Barcelona and travel to many other European cities!

Andrew Singer

LinkedIn Profile

Hi, my name is Andrew Singer, and I am from Town and Country, MO. This fall, I will be a junior at the University of Chicago, where I am currently pursuing a major in Economics with a potential double major in Public Policy. At UChicago, I am currently the treasurer of my social fraternity and a member of the chess club. In my spare time, I enjoy playing tennis, working out, and spending time with friends and family.

Parkside’s internship stood out to me because of its unique rotational program, which would allow me to gain experience in multiple sectors of the financial industry. As someone who is uncertain about what area of finance I would like to take my career, the ability to work closely with mentors in a number of these areas is extremely valuable.
