Cardinals Game & Top Golf

The Top Golf outing was the first time that we met outside the office. This was a good opportunity for the interns to spend time and get to know their mentors better. The area reserved for us was very nice a spacious and unlimited food and drinks were provided. We played multiple rounds and got to witness everyone’s golf skills (some better than others). The mentors went out of their way to make us feel welcome. This helped us get our internship off to a great start. Unfortunately, one of the interns, Melissa, was not able to attend this event due to enjoying her time on a family vacation.

Our second outing consisted of going to a Cardinal’s baseball game at Busch Stadium. We got to watch them play the Oakland A’s from the UMB Champions Box. This all-inclusive area provided a great selection of food and drinks allowed us to further develop our relationships with our mentors. We were so appreciative of Parkside providing this fun experience for us to spend more time with people in a less formal setting.
