Lunch N Learns
A major part of Parkside’s internship was the Lunch N Learn sessions we had. Each week, we sat down with a different department––such as Treasury Management, 401(k) Services, and Family Office––over lunch to learn about their role at the bank. While learning about the departments and their functions, we enjoyed a variety of restaurants, including 5 Star Burgers (a Parkside favorite). Each department seemed very excited about their role and eager to emphasize what differentiated Parkside from other banks––the people! Having these sessions helped us get an understanding of every department, even those that we did not work with directly during the internship. The Lunch N Learns gave us the opportunity to understand how all of the departments at Parkside come together.
